SPCC Post-Lockdown Re-Opening

We are pleased to announce that we will be open to see patients from 7.30am this Saturday, 6 February 2021.

We will be strictly following COVID-19 guidelines, with increased sanitising, social distancing measures and mandatory mask wearing.

When you come into the clinic this week:

  • Please ensure you are wearing your mask, following current health advice
  • To assist with social distancing, where possible please refrain from bringing accompanying family or friends unless they are also booked in for an adjustment

In order to protect our patients who are most at risk and continue providing chiropractic care to our community, we require you to call us to reschedule your adjustment if you:

  • Have flu-like symptoms or fever OR
  • Have been in close proximity to someone diagnosed with, awaiting test results for, or suspected of having COVID-19

If this means you need to reschedule, please call us on 08 9474 1955 and we will be happy to arrange that for you.

South Perth Chiropractic Centre is unable to see patients during the five-day lock down. We will contact you to reschedule any appointments booked during this period.

The WA Government has announced a five-day lock down starting 6pm Sunday, 1 February 2021 until 6pm on Friday, 5 February 2021 for the Perth, Peel and South West regions. The lock down is due to health advice following a positive COVID-19 case detected in a hotel quarantine worker.

Under section 29(j) of the WA Stay at Home and Closure (Perth, Peel and the South West Regions) Directions, issued by the WA Commissioner of Police and State Emergency Coordinator on Sunday evening, allied health providers (including Chiropractic practices) are unable to operate during the lock down period unless under very specific circumstances in hospitals or residential care facilities.

In light of this information, and in line with the directions advised by our peak body representing Chiropractors in Australia, the Australian Chiropractors Association, South Perth Chiropractic Centre will be unable to see patients for the duration of the lockdown period and will continue to closely monitor directives from the WA Commissioner of Police and State Emergency Coordinator.
